  1. Donna I just loved this...a true photo essay...no words necessary. You are gifted in your choice of a hobby/business. Your heart leads you...most important factor. The photo, 3rd from the bottom would have to be my favorite. The expression is price-less and you relate his joy in his fishing in that one photo...I can almost hear him chatting away to you while you snap. The last photo cleary tells the end of the story..in only a way a true Italien can....with expressive hand and arm gestures....A pleasure to view.

  2. Lovely series of pictures Donna! How extraordinary that this gentleman let you take so many pictures of him, he must be a good friend... we can feel a true confidence and complicity between him and you... it's obvious that he likes to be the subject of your essay....he doesn't pretend, he stands and moves in front of your camera like an experimented fisher struggling with his line and finding the best place to throw his fishing rod... we almost expected to see the fish he caught in the end...

  4. What a wonderful character, it just shows in his face. Love the stained apron, something I wouldn't expect to see on a fisherman.
