Homespun Holidays

Christmas is a time of sweet inspiration. My favorite way to decorate is to use the things I already have and love in my home and dress them up for Christmas. Just by bringing in a few branches of an evergreen,  a pine cone or two, and using a simple bowl with a red ring around the rim just like magic Christmas is all around! For today's images I used a texture by Kim Klassen called "Lilly."

  1. Oh yes, using everyday things in new and imaginative way spruces up the house for the holidays. That little Santa looks very familair to me and love the red stripes with cones and candy cane. Lovely use of Kim's texture.

  2. Hi Donna, I found you through Kim's TT and this is gorgeous! Love your blog and your photo's are outstanding. Love your stories to go along with them. Also your quilts are a dream!!! Happy Holidays !

  3. I love your decorative arrangements....very lovely...and beautiful texture work!
