Home Keys and House Keys

I think waxing nostalgic for things that are old and slightly worn or used is a sure sign that I am aging! Maybe it's because everything in today's world seems to be so . . . well, much. We don't even need a key to start the car or open a door. I still can't get the hang of putting the card key in a hotel door correctly.  I feel like I am playing a slot machine. Will the little green light come on and let me in? We certainly don't use typewriters today, and carbon paper and "White Out" have disappeared, too. I know that change is inevitable and most of the time it is even welcome, but sometimes I can't help but long for simpler and less complicated times.  So many choices, so many things to do, so many places to be . . . it's easy to get overwhelmed.  Life is a great adventure I just wish it would slow down a bit once in a while!
