Baker's Secret

I have to admit that I roll my crust - straight out of the Pillsbury Box.  My family tries to eat healthy with a few treats and compromises along the way. We had fresh apple pie this week with only a bottom crust, otherwise known as an apple galette.  With fresh apples, spices, and a caramel glaze this dessert was fall perfection.  I'm thinking of making some cookies - no slice and bake - but old style, rolled out with my low-tech rolling pin.
